16 year old Ethan Lake hopes through his music to introduce blues music more widely to his generation. As referenced in an August 2018 American Blues Scene feature story, Ethan is creating a fresh take on old blues by adding his exceptional guitar improvisation and powerful vocal stylings to traditional blues standards. His talent has captured the attention of many nationally and internationally recognized artists including Rachel Ann Morgan of the Ron Holloway Band, Memphis based Robert Allen Parker, guitarist Mick Mars of Motley Crue and Grammy Award Winner David Evans also of Memphis.
Currently Ethan can be found at the Baltimore Music Workshop Studio preparing a 25 minute set for his upcoming January 2019 performance at the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge Youth Showcase taking place in Memphis, TN. Ethan is honored to have been selected to represent the Baltimore Blues Society at the weeklong event.
